Notification to Customers

As the effects of COVID-19 (coronavirus) continue to impact the lives of us all, we want to update you on what we are doing to support you, your health and safety, and your needs during this difficult time.  We are working hard to develop effective ways to continue to deliver our services and products to you with a minimum of delay

Following advice from the Australian Government Chief Medical Officer and the Department of Health (www.health.gov.au) we have implemented preventative hygiene measures and social distancing across our business.  We have also reinforced our policy that staff stay away from work should they feel unwell or show symptoms of cold, fever, or flu.  We respectfully ask our customers and their employees to do the same when planning to visit our sites.

Weighbridge Operation incoming and outgoing products
Our weighbridge window will now be closed and all communications with the weighbridge will be via the intercom system (the intercom button is on the right hand side of the weighbridge window) or via a two-way radio (UHF10).  Our weighbridge will continue to operate Monday to Friday between 7am and 3.30pm for all our existing customers for incoming and outgoing products, such as C&D products and greens, mulch and selected (available) crushed brick products (3-10mm aggregate) and scoria.  Please note we have minimal quantities of 3-10mm aggregate and scoria currently available.

All weighbridge dockets will be printed from the yellow box situated on the weighbridge.  All drivers will be required to step out of the truck, walk around the back of the truck to obtain a docket from the yellow box.  There is another intercom button next to the yellow box.

If you are a credit card customer, we can take credit card payments over the telephone and email dockets and receipts to you.

Crushed Brick Products
As previously advised red porous crushed bricks products of 2.5mm and ultra fine are currently out of stock.  All going well, we plan to crush this product during April, 2020.  However, this could change, given the current circumstances. We currently have a Crushed Brick Orders Register to ensure that we can meet the demands of our customers when able to do so.  If you require this product, please ensure your details and quantities are recorded in the Crushed Brick Orders Register.

Demolition and Excavation Quotations and Tenders
Our Demolition and Excavation Team are still working through quotes and tenders for future projects.  Please ensure you continue to submit your request for quotations or tenders in the usual manner.  If you have any queries, please email estimate@ecogroup.com.au

Current Recycled Brick and Paver Orders
We are encouraging all customers with outstanding orders which have had partial deliveries to finalise delivery of the balance of the order as a matter of priority.  Depending on the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19, we may be unable to deliver these products for quite some time.

New Recycled Brick and Paver Orders
We advise that as the C&D Industry slows down, we will receive less C&D materials to recover and recycle.  This will mean that our brick production will slow down to a minimum, or cease altogether for the foreseeable future.  We will not be taking any new orders.
Please discuss all future orders with our sales team on 1300 ECOBRICKS (1300 326 274 or email sales@ecogroup.com.au.  If current stock availability is sufficient to fulfill these orders, we will do so.  We also have a Brick and Paver Order Register for all future orders.  Please ensure your details and quantities are recorded in the Brick and Paver Order Register.
